Qinghai Tibet Carpet Exhibition June 20-23, 2009
 Just a few hours from Bejing on the Tibetan Plateau is the 6th Qinghai Tibet Carpet
Exhibition, June 20-23 in Qinghai, China. This exhibition offers valuable direct-import pricing focusing on Tibetan hand knotted
carpets. Carpets from Iran, Pakistan, Nepal, India and Afghanistan will also be displayed in this modern 15,000 square meter convention center located in
Xining, the capital of Qinghai province.
Xining is also near the famous Tibetan Buddhist monastery of Ta'er
Lamasery. There will be many educational events that include tours to weaving centers, monasteries and Tibetan performances. Cultural handicrafts will also be on sale at the
exhibition. This is a show that should not be missed.
